Nathan Wills

Nathan is a Senior Consultant who works in the AI & Machine Learning Division at DeepRec.ai across Switzerland. Working closely with Startups, VCs, and reputable large enterprises predominantly within the HealthTech and MedTech spaces, he collaborates with key AI Specialists both on the candidate and client side, who are looking to globally impact the industry and change people’s lives for the better.

Nathan has previously worked in recruitment for the last two years, specialising in the Microsoft space, and recruiting specialists in CRM technology within Higher Education across the UK. Nathan had a key passion for working within the AI space due to its forecasted growth over the next coming years.

Senior AI Engineer, Production LLM SystemsWe are hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build production grade LLM systems for real client environments. This is a hands on role for someone who has moved beyond prototypes and knows how to design, ship and improve AI products that work reliably in production.Responsibilities• Design and build LLM applications, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines and backend services.• Build with Python, FastAPI, LangGraph, LangChain, vector databases and APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar providers.• Own AI evaluation and reliability, including output testing, failure tracing, quality measurement and regression workflows.• Improve prompts, debug retrieval, monitor system behaviour and make LLM systems observable in production.• Work closely with clients to turn unclear business problems into practical technical solutions.• Support discovery, technical scoping, architecture decisions and hands on delivery across client projects.What we are looking for• Experience building production LLM systems, not just prototypes or demos.• Strong hands on Python and backend engineering experience.• Experience with RAG, agents, evals, observability and LLM application reliability.• Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment and modern software engineering practices.• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, founders and client stakeholders.• Someone who enjoys system design, technical problem solving and moving quickly in small teams.Location• Remote within Germany, with occasional travel.
